There are thousands of blogs out there all vying for your attention but we here is a list of some of my favourites that you should definitely bookmark. They have provided me with a ton of inspiration for our own home and I have discovered some amazing products and ideas that I would never have found if left to my own devices.
Kate Alexander is the creative force behind Places and Graces an interior styling business based in Devonport. I love how she mixes old and new to breathe new life into interiors, using clever art direction to show you don't need to spend a fortune to create a stunning home.
I have followed Alana Broadhead's blog for a long time now (originally Fancy) and watched it grow into an online magazine that showcases homegrown design and designers as well as some cool overseas finds. More than a blog it features behind the scenes peeks into houses, studios and creatives lives. And I do love a good nose.
Rohini Wahi is a UK freelance journalist and trend forecaster for the design industries and her blog focuses on home inspirations, design trends, lifestyle and food - coupled with an insight into her work and home life.
Toddy Selby photographs creatives from around the world in their personal spaces with an artist’s eye for detail. He started in 20018 photographing his friends in their homes and led to ad campaigns and collaborations with Louis Vuitton, American Express, FENDI, Nike, Microsoft, Sony, Airbnb, Hennessy, Ikea, eBay, Heineken and a subsequent solo shows and the publication of a number of books. Another great site to nose into others homes>
Impossible to leave off the list and I am sure you are all familiar with Grace Bonney's blog but if you aren't then you are in for a treat. She must be the most prolific blogger out there and as the site is updated through out the day but I warn you, it is just too easy to get lost in it and forget about work!
A person after my own heart - Will Taylor hates beige and loves colour. A blog about travel, style and interiors that will keep you entertained for ages. Just shame a lot of the product featured is not available in NZ but great ideas for styling.
